OASC Initiative
(Open & Agile Smart Cities)
The Open and Agile Smart Cities initiative was launched on March'15 to accelerate the adoption of common standards for global smart city development. So far, 89 cities from 19 European Countries, Latin America and Asia-Pacific have joined to take advantage of the potential of cities to create jobs and growth, by deploying innovative and replicable solutions increasing the competitiveness of businesses (market), avoiding vendor lock-in (competition).
